How You Can Help

Crowdfunding K–12 Bridge:
Connecting Schools and Families

Crowdfunding is when a large number of people each contribute small amounts of money to help bring an idea or project to life.

K-12 Bridge will be crowdfunding to rally parents, teachers, and school leaders around a shared mission—building a platform that connects and supports families and schools—while also raising the funds needed to grow it together.

There are 2 steps to crowdfunding:

  • generate interest and buzz

  • begin the crowdfunding process.

How You Can Help Build Buzz Before Crowdfunding Starts

There are many ways you can help!

  • Share on social media – Post about K-12 Bridge on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok (and reshare official posts).

  • Tell your personal story – Share why this platform matters to you as a parent, teacher, or school leader.

  • Post in community groups – Share in local Facebook groups, PTA/PTO pages, and school newsletters.

  • Engage with content – Like, comment, and share posts to boost visibility in algorithms.

  • Create short videos – Record a quick testimonial or “why this matters” clip and post it.

  • Talk about it in real life – Mention K-12 Bridge at school meetings, events, and casual conversations.

  • Email your school community – Teachers and leaders can include it in newsletters or staff emails.

  • Partner with influencers – Tag or reach out to education influencers or local leaders to amplify reach.

  • Use consistent hashtags – Help unify the message (e.g., #K12Bridge #SupportStudents #EmpowerParents).

During Crowdfunding

  • Invite your network – Text, email, or DM friends, colleagues, and parent groups with a direct link to the campaign.

  • Encourage small donations + shares – Even small contributions paired with sharing go a long way.
  • Follow and stay active – Keep engaging throughout the campaign, not just once.
